On December 17, 2024 I thought was on the official Pelle Pelle USA website because I typed in Pelle Pelle which seemed harmless but PellePellestore.to popped up which I thought was just an actual retail store for Pelle Pelle. I went on the website and purchased a jacket that was originally $800.00 but there was a coupon promo code that brought the price down to $720.00. After I placed my order it took a long time to receive a tracking number which began to alarm me so I called the contact number and they answered and said I would have a tracking number by New Year’s Day and I said ok. I then went back on the website and started to look for errors and typos and I typed in the search results for Pelle Pelle again and saw that it was 2 totally different sites. I contacted the Pelle Pelle USA official website and they said that the Pelle Pelle store is not an authorized retailer. They also said they contacted the web domain to have it removed. They basically are confusing consumers with mimicking the true website. I eventually got a tracking number on January 13th after I had already filed a dispute with my bank. The jacket also arrived on January 13th needless to say it was a plastic jacket with poor stitching and just a cheap attempt at trying to make a replica of an actual Pelle Pelle jacket which literally translates to leather in Italian. I contacted the store by phone and email to request a refund and I have yet to receive a refund or credible response. I would hate to see anyone else go through this I hope they shut the website down.
