Peak 6 representatives came to my door asking to see my bill, informed them I pay online. They said they are "metering" everyone's gas usage in the area, and told me that they can remove the Tier 2 charge from my bill if I have one (they had a sample bill) I explained to them, really? Because Tier 1 and Tier 2 represent how much gas I am using, so you are just going to magically make my usage disappear? Sounds Fishy. She said, its a new program. I said whats it called? She didnt want to say, I said so there is no name? She said oh Peak 6, I said hmm ok well PG&E representatives NEVER go door to door. And I am not interested. Little did I know after googling this Peak 6 it is a common scam and they are trying to replace your gas provider from PG&E to Peak 6 and upcharge you on your bill. Be smart!!
