In activating my PBS account on my tv using Roku app, I had to got to pbs.org/activate to enter code. When I started typing the website into Safari on my iPhone, I didn't realize that the first website listed was one that looked like pbs.org. It had me enter my code and then popped up a message that said I had to call a number to finish the activation. I called the number and the rep told me my account was suspended because of a suspicious charge made on my account from Dayton Ohio. They asked me my name and email address (fortunately no passwords or account numbers) and asked if I was an iPhone or Android user. When I said iPhone, they said to go to Settings, General, Languages and Region. Then said to scroll to bottom to see the amount charged on this card which looked like an Apple Card. At the bottom of this screen I saw a dollar amount of $12,345.67 along with some other numbers. I didn't read the text above which says "Region Format Example" and was very concerned. I asked more questions getting increasingly more suspicious. When I asked "who are you with ?", they hung up. That was when I looked back on my browser history and saw the look-alike website address, pbsorgactivation.com
