On 12-24-2018 I went online to get help with my computer. I hit Microsoft Help and the digital small screen came up I typed in my problem- having trouble with Registry and getting Black screen at Start. Lad (Louvaine C gets on taking my information and ask if it was windows 10. Then she said hold while she gets a tech to look into the problem, then she gets back on and said, in order to proceed with fixing computer, it will cost me $99.99 for a one time fix or if I wanted a whole year it would be $149.99, co I said to proceed with the full year, I will try it . Then after the Tech was going into my computer on digital l screen he was fixing some problems, but after he was done, it did not fix Black screen or Registry, so I emailed them told to cancel, that the agreement was good for 60 days Meantime I was getting stuck with computer had to reset windows 10 all over, it took out the email I sent and the program they used. They went though PayPal for me to setup my Mastercard charged of $149.99. I received my Master card Bill with Transaction: on it for $149.99. I had called Master card and they are aware of it but can ot do anything till they get credit for PayPal to take off the $149.99 I contacted Microsoft and they said this was a scam. I am a retired and I really can not lose money like this, it is causing me hardship I went in and added myself to PayPal and sent them same email with reference number,I asked them to Reverse of Charge to give credit to my charge card. then I closed out. When I did this I assumed this was Microsoft Tech and it was safe
