Got Scammed by this dude
So a few weeks later he called me and said that someone was trying to steal my trademark and he was going to get them because I hired an attorney? I was like what. I never hired an Attorney. He was like yes you hired me I was like no I didn't and he then muffled his voice and said I am your attorney and then hung up.
Full scam with all the emails that everyone posted. DO NOT GIVE HIM ANY MONEY- HE IS A FAKE!

They falsely claim:
"Note:

It's part of the standard review procedure with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) – Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (TTAB). The purpose is to confirm essential details and help move your filing forward without delays. If all required information is verified, your application could progress to the publication phase seamlessly."
They are using a domain and email address which appears to be designed to deceive recipients: "[email protected]"
They have falsely claimed that "U.S. Patent and Trademark Office" is the sender of the email.
A complaint has been filed with the FTC and if we find where "Mr. Matthew Howell" practices law will also file a complaint with their local Bar Agency, requesting sanctions against the sender of this email.

When I called, they sent another email pretending to confirm my email address. This email came from another email address: [email protected]
Then they started asking me for personal information. I shared the last 4 digits of my SSN, but then they asked about my driver's license, and then I got suspicious and declined to give any further information. I then disconnected the phone call.
