Was contacted about a job offer, when asked questions about the job the representative who contacted me could not answer basic questions about the job. The contact was unsolicited.

After applying for jobs on Indeed I was contacted by this company sharing a similar name to a company I had applied for. They then followed up the original email with an interview time and ask for your licensing number (required before the first interview) and say if you don't have one to visit one of their partnered websites to get one. This is where they get you, the websites do not offer actual certifications. The reason I didn't fall for this is knowing any real business will pay for your license. I myself do not have a license and they know this based on my Indeed profile. On the surface the websites seem quite legit but I could tell something was off. They make it seem as if the job is yours to have before the first "interview", that will probably never come, to try and coask people into paying for these fake courses.

I received an unsolicited "job offer" email for a Pharmaceutical Sales Representative position from "Brian Gibson," Staffing Manager, Pharmaceutical Sales Division, signing as Paragon Pharma. Contact info given: [email protected], phone (857) 626-4198 ext. 703, website paragontechusa.com. This matches multiple existing ScamPulse.com reports (using the same phone number, website, and email template) where the company alternately brands itself as "Paragon Health," "Paragon Biotech," and "Paragon Laboratories," and where applicants who responded were later asked to pay ~$325 for a "PSC certification" before interviews would proceed. I did not pay anything or provide personal/financial information.

Posted as a pharmaceutical sales Rep Position. Receive multiple emails saying that I needed a PSR certification prior to being interviewed by the regional manager. They directed me to a website where you could get the PSR certification. I paid $325 for the certification. I was then directed to a webinar where they sell a discount card and a couple of medical devices. I have emailed repeatedly and there is no mention of the pharmaceutical sales Rep position that was initially advertised. Well I understand that PSR is a real certification it seemed like the whole intent was to steer me toward that. And it was false advertising the position was never for a pharmaceutical Rep They even mentioned Alzheimer's and neurology drugs in the initial email and they were never mentioned again
