I received a postal mailer saying that I was overdue on my small business, state filing fees from a company that I had used in the past. They provided all of the paperwork, I just needed to sign, send a check and all would be well. It looked very official and I did not question it until I received another mailer from the document processing company that this one was actually impersonating. The real company is Paragon Document Research, the impostor company is Workplace Compliance Services (address and contact information for this company is what I gave for the scam information above). The impostor company up-charged what Paragon typically charges ($55, they charged and I paid $95). It looks like they did actually file my paperwork, so no issue there, just that they did so under false pretenses and under the false assumption that I was working with the company that I had used previously.

I am unsure if they have done anything else fraudulent with my personal or business information, that remains to be seen.
