Paradise Promotions, LLC Reports & Reviews (1)

- Eldon, MO, USA

We ordered some promotional keychain flashlights from Paradise Promotions last year. We receive calls several times a week from them with new offers, we continually decline. Today, the salesman called and wanted to speak to my husband; we own a collision repair shop and it is just the two of us that work here. With my husband out after a surgery, I let the salesman know that he was out and wouldn't be back for a couple of weeks. I informed that I am an owner of the business also, and asked if I could help him. He stated that he needed to verify our shipping address. I asked him why. He stated that he was verifying for another salesman that had an order of 100 keychains, identical to the ones we had purchased previously. He then told me that the keychains were of no charge, and being shipped with the calendars that J*** had ordered. I told him we hadn't ordered any calendars. He told me J*** did, and I was wrong. I stated that not only are J*** and I co owners of the business, but also married and I knew for a fact that he had not ordered any calendars, or any other promotional items. The salesman continued to argue with me and called me rude when I stated that I believed the call to be fraudulent. I asked to speak with his supervisor and he told me he was the supervisor. I then asked to speak to someone above him, and he just kept repeating that I was rude and J*** did place the order. I asked that the business never call our business again, and he said that he would keep calling until he got to speak with J***. I stated that I was going to place a complaint with the Attorney General and asked his name again, and he hung up on me. I placed a call to the business, based on a number from a card we received with the previous order we did place(the salesman calls from a "PRIVATE" number) and asked to speak with a manager or owner. The lady that answered the call told me the manager was out sick and asked for information so the manager could call me back tomorrow. My belief is that the sales calls placed are fraudulent in that, they try to make you believe that you or someone else in your business has placed an order with them to receive payment.
