My wife googled a contact number for Apple The number was 855-657-0662 that claimed it was Apple support A man named Victor Saha gave her his Apple Empolyee #AP3579 and phone numbers to reach him at 805-354-5837 or 877-353-1143 She was having a problem with her Apple ID and password He said it was because her Mac book pro had been hacked. Victor said the computer was hacked by someone in Germany and North Carolina. Victor said Apple offers a 8-layer firewall protection plan which cost $299 for 3years $549 for 5years or $850 for lifetime and this protection would cover all of our Apple products and would transfer to any new Apple products we bought.We opted for the $850 plan. Victor said that we needed to purchase two pre paid Vanilla Visa debt cards and they had to be the Vanilla ones.One card for $350 and the other for $500. He said it wasn’t safe to use a regular credit card over the phone or computer due to the hackers.He said he would update the computer with the latest updates and firewall and to leave the computer on overnight for it to update and he would call the next day to see if everything was good. The next day we came to our senses and realized we were scammed. We called the real Apple Care and they said we were scammed and our computer was not hacked and straightened out the computer.
