Paisley Puller Reports & Reviews (1)

- Cincinnati, OH, USA

My son received a call from a process locater saying that unless he gave him my information he would be subpoenaed. He called me upset and gave me the information. Before I could call the number given, I received a call from a No CallerID number. It was the same process locater named Amanda Samuels. She gave me the same number to call at Paisley & Puller 877-768-6104 with a case number DXXXXXX. I called the number and spoke with a Ms. Thomas who was able to verify my date of birth, last 4 of social and an old address and my current address. She said I had 3 counts of fraud and a felony charge pending and that I would be arrested. She asked me if I had taken out a payday loan with OH Acceptance LLC in 2018. I did not answer. She went on to say that I owed over $2587 in principle and late fees/charges and that the account had been charged off. She also said if it would went to court it would cost me over $7-8k. She wanted to know if or how I wanted to take care of this. I asked her to send me the documentation and she said no that I would have to contact OH Acceptance. I asked for their number and she said all she was required to do was give their name and account number which was the same as their file number with out the D in front. I told her I was entitled to see what I owed this from and she said so you don't want to resolve this? I told her I needed to see what it was for. She said I'll just hang up now and have it filed. I ended the call. All this occurred yesterday, 4/25/24. Today, I received a call from a co-worker who advised she received a call from Amanda Samuels stating she was a process server and needed to know our company's process for receiving served papers for me. She was given the same info as my son and I were and also the name of Monica Douglas as the case manager. This was at my job!

I researched OH Acceptance LLC, their website domain name is up for sale. I did have an account with them and found an old phone number in an email from 2018 with the phone number: Ohio Acceptance, LLC 312.888.4884. I called this number and it was for a business called Simple Fast Loans. I talked to Judith there and they have no record of me in their system.

There are a lot of red flags here and I'm concerned about them contacting my family and my place of employment. What can I do?
