Type of a scam Online Purchase

There was an online video telling about an at home business to start making money from home by getting businesses to pay you to link their business web links on other websites for them. It said that businesses don't have time to find other websites to link theirs to and its easier for them to have outsiders do that for them. It had a quoted amount to get the info to start up. When you try to leave the website, the cost goes down drastically I found. Anyway, I decided to see just how good this business might be so I gave in and paid. I didn't have time to look into it right then and got really swamped at home and with my job so I had not looked at the email that was sent to to get started. I tried to fimd that email the next day , but it was gone from my inbox. I thought that I must have just over looked it and would try later. I forgot about it for a few weeks until I checked my voice mails on my mobile phone. I had been getting calls from an unknown number, but just ignored and didn't answer. When I listened to the voice mails, a woman named Mercury wanting to help me get up and running in the business venture I purchased. I finally answered one of the calls after bout 3 weeks of these calls (fonally took time to talk). She said she was not with the business that sold me the initial info, but was with a company, no name given, that makes the "success stories"! She asked if I remembered all the success stories fromtge video. They helped those that really wanted to get started and make a real go of it. She set me up with a time to speak with the real manager to go over everything on a 2 hour set up call!! I'm supposed to get this call from her on Monday, Nov. 22. I checked the phone number because I could not believe they could do this without making money themselves. I found the number online was said to be a scammer's number. I'm trying to decie whether to play along and get their names and addresses or not. It infuriates me to have jerks like this on the lose!!!
