Blatant Scam – Avoid at All Costs!

This company is completely dishonest and unprofessional. They offered me $600–$800 for my old car — sounded fair, right? Well, I had to chase them down THREE times just to get them to send a pickup truck.

Then the driver shows up and suddenly says it’s only $200. I called out the obvious bait-and-switch, and he just shrugged and said the original offer was “just an estimate.” What a joke. After wasting my time and energy, I only got $230, and that’s after pushing back.

This isn’t just bad service — it’s a manipulative scam. They count on people being too tired or frustrated to argue. It’s dishonest, it’s shady, and it needs to be reported.

Do NOT trust them. They will lie to you, lowball you, and waste your time. Absolute disgrace.

I had a car that need to be scrapped, I found this website(www.sellscrap.ca) on the internet that offers false and misleading information and lure people to tow the car to this suspicious parking lot with false promise they will pay $200 if I tow the car to them. Another misleading statement is the minimum they will pay for my car is $600. When I got to this parking lot and dropped my towed car and started looking for the scrap business, minutes later a car pulled to the parking lot and I guy introduced himself as the buyer for my car and pretended to inspect the car and said he would pay only $350 for the car. At that point I realized I had been scammed as I used the towing company to tow the car with the false promise of getting $200 extra for the towing. Not only they didn’t pay for the amount promised in the exchanged messages between myself and “Mike” the person that claims to be the owner of the company they lured me to tow my car to them. This business is a big SCAM and needs to be reported and also in their website they say they are “Acredited Business” by BBB, what could be another misleading information as I would be surprised if ScamPulse.com would accredit a company with so many false and misleading statements in their website as ScamPulse.com is here to protect and inform citizens about business bad practices. This is the phone number in their website (647) 983-8177. PLEASE publish what this company is doing with people like me to fall into their scam with false promises of paying the most for your car and luring you to tow the car to them and NOT paying for it, what is considered robbery.
