I received a call on my work phone claiming I had a civil suit being charged against me and to call this number. I was told when calling back that I had an account from Wells Fargo from 10 years ago with a closed over draft amount and that If I did not resolve it for $1686 that I would be served the next day for court.. I ask for documentation as proof and they said they could not provide me anything until a settlement was agreed. I let them know, I was a current Wells Fargo customer and would need to contact my bank before anything.

My wife, dad, and I received numerous calls from a Restricted number stating they were going to be issuing a subpoena to my old address within the next 72 hours for debt I owed to Huntington. I spoke with "Lisa Green" there stating I owed $1900, plus a $500 attorney fee, but they could take care of it, if I sent them $542. They stated they were a third party mediation group for these debts. My wife, working in banking for many years, asked for them to send her a validation of debt, and they said their fax machine was down. So she told them to email it to her and they just sent a debit card authorization form. I had a car loan 10 years ago with Huntington, but that had been paid off. In speaking with Huntington they explained that they have received many calls of a similar nature over the past 1.5 years, none of which actually ended up going to court. I did some more research and found that their callback number (202 335-9833) was reported as a scam by 35 other people online. So I called back and told them to please stop calling all of us, I know this is a scam. She said, "Well let me get Huntington on the phone to verify." So I played along. She came back literally 30 secs later and said she spoke with Huntington and they said it was true. When I called Huntington, I was on hold for 10 mins before being able to speak to someone. She sent me to her 'manager', to which I told them I knew it was a scam through my investigating. The manager said "I don't give a *** what a Google search says, this is REAL!!! You WILL go to jail for this!" To which I hung up. The phone calls stopped for 48 hours, but now they are starting back up again and saying the police will be showing up at my house today between 1 and 4 to take me to jail.

I received a voicemail (from Stephen Smith) (they also called my mom and my sister) and the voice was difficult to understand, but they said that I would be served a court summons the following day and to call (832) 432-7862 if I wanted to get the matter resolved. I called the number the voicemail provided and didn't hear any ringing, but just hold music. The agent answered and provided his first and last name (Dylan Murray). They were able to verify all of my information without me providing it (address, SSN, bank account number etc). They stated that I owed money to Wells Fargo from an account that was overdrawn almost 10 years ago. They convinced me that it would be useless for me to contact WF directly and if I didn't pay today at this first point of contact I would be at risk of going to court and paying 3x the amount in collection.

I received a private number phone call from Marie Arthur who left a message that she received a fax to bring me a subpoena to my work or home and if I had any questions to call 832-432-7955 and that I have been officially notified. She didn't speak clearly on what company she is with. I called this number which doesn't ring but instantly places you on hold with hold music until someone provides their first and last name and asks how they can help. No company name is given. They pulled my file and stated that I owed Huntington Bank $804 and that I was being subpoenaed to court to settle this claim. They verified my address, the last 4 of my social and when I had an account with this bank. I called back and found out the address and the name of the company is ORG Mediation. They did not ask for money over the phone but did state I was being taken to court and there were different ways they could proceed to take my money. I went to Huntington Bank and was told there were no notes in my account that I owed any money and all subpoenas would come directly from Huntington Bank.

Received a call from a blocked number stating they were going to be issueing a subpeona to my address the next day and to contact the phone number 1-832-702-3857. I spoke with someone there stating they were only able to provide limited information but were able to state how much I supposedly owed which totaled to over $2000. They stated they were a third party mediation group for these debts. Being very confused about the situation (the account in question had been closed almost 10 years prior) I spoke with Huntington Bank which was who the mediator claimed was the original owner of the debt. In speaking with Huntington they explained that they have received many calls of a similar nature over the past 1.5 years, none of which actually ended up going to court. They suggested I contact the mediator again to request validation of debt and to find out more about their business. ORG Mediation has no website, no information anywhere online except for a few forums referencing scams. Huntington also suggested searching ScamPulse.com to see if they are a legitimate business. When I asked the mediator if they are a legitimate business he got offended saying how they wouldn't waste their time on this if they were not legitimate. When I got off the phone I tried the number again and it is not in service.
