Oral B Car Wrap Scam Reports & Reviews (77)

Yes, received a text about same. We are major shareholders of P&G which owns Oral B. We are going to litigate this and find out how many people have been duped and who truly is or are behind this scam. P&G (Procter and Gamble) better not have had a server breach or they will lose millions. But, if it looks too good and smells too good to be true it's probably always a scam.

I've read all the reports and reviews and am messing with them via messenger right now. - Too bad this isn't real. - However, there are some real opportunities out there for wrap for pay ... It just takes a bit of research.

Yes, same story as above. Darn, I actually believed it was true until he said they were sending a large check to pay the decal specialist. That is completely suspicious. Any large company would have a deal worked out with a decal company and pay them directly. I'm curious what would happen if I just cash the check. But that's just sinking to their level. When I asked why they do not just pay the decal specialist they said because of the crisis and short on human labor...again, not making sense.

If you had cashed the check..your bank would have held the funds until the “check” cleared. When it doesn’t clear and if you’ve written a check for that amount, the money bey comes out of your account. That’s how they make their money.

Do NOT send them the deposit slip information, they will use your bank information to remove funds from your account. They state they want to see this to release your funds, but they use the information listed on your slip to steal from you. I am with the company listed as the return address on these checks and have been working to get this to stop.

Received a text from 858-245-2588 regarding the Oral B wrap. The grammar is suspicious, as is the high weekly payout. No company pays that much for a car wrap. Beware! Oral B doesn't even offer car wraps! I have done extensive research regarding car wraps as I am looking for extra income while I drive my car for a meal delivery company.

I Just received a text from 336-212-5772:
Hi, Oral-B would like to place decal on your BIKE, CAR or TRUCK for advert and get paid $500 weekly. Please, if interested, Click (https://wp.me/PcPp4N-5) for more info and to appl. Thanks

I received same - I’m sure it’s 100’s of people all using same name. Asked him how he would feel if someone did this to his Mom or Grandma? Reminded him he is robbing people who don’t have a lot themselves and that I pray his children/Mom don’t know how he steals from people and that he/she is a loser criminal.

Lastly, said it’s only a matter of time before he/she is caught. Could be tomorrow ?

This fraud is being commited outside the country.

Since I've already heard of this scam before so, I did not click on the link or reply to the email. Just posting for awareness.
Same tactic used on buyer scams were they'll send a check for an amount bigger than what they offered and if you cash it, you'll be made responsible to pay for the entire amount.

Just received this text. My first thought was "What's the catch? And why did they text/choose me? WTF?"

SO glad I listened to my gut! A big heartfelt THANK YOU for all the folks before me who were kind enough to post their experiences and findings!

I am nervous because I gave them my info before checking to see if it was a scam. But I'm not sure how this scam works? So you deposit the check and show a deposit slip, then what? How are they making their money?

+3

Has anyone cashed the check and if so, what happened?

I’m in Indiana. I also received a check from bob. Same promise of 500week and I would pay the specialist. I’m going to play along and try and get more info from him to incriminate himself altho I’m sure he won’t say anything too specific. But it’ll be a fun dance lol

I got the same text. I thought for [censored]s and giggles I m gonna play along. So I get all the documents sent to me via text explaining how the transaction and process works. It is exactly the same as you guys have described with one different detail. Mr Bob Cabrera will be meeting with me and the installer Johnathan Bradley on January 23rd at the installers place of business we then will sign the proper paperwork pay the installer and give them a copy of deposit slip.

How did it go?

Did you actually deposit the check?
My son just got same text.

Received my check today. Guy has been texting me telling me to cash it immediately then take pick off deposit slip. I've been going back in forth with him in hopes I could report him and he get caught.

the page has a picture of their electric toothbrush box and the grammar is questionable. "Create your website at WordPress.com→" at the top of the page. A few paragraphs trying to make it seem legit. Offering free wrapping and payment up front, etc. The name 'Thomas Lawson' is at the bottom. I see a cookie agreement but no terms of service or even privacy policy anywhere, which is I think unusual where there are fields to enter one's name and address etc. It definitely seems too good to be true.

I just got a txt message from so.eone saying they're Oral B campaign manager. They're looking for people who want to advertise for them by putting decals on your car. The cover the wrapping and unwrapping of ur car and pay u $500 per week just to drive around with the decal. They send this website to click on if interested:

https://wp.me/PcbrGs-8

Well gullible me clicks on it. And advertisement pops up with pretty much everything the text message says and leaves a place for u to enter in your info...name address email etc. And a small blank area for u to leave a message if your interested. I type interested and wake up this morning to another message from this guy claiming to be the campaign manager. It goes as follows:

Hi Sara LeFevre, how are you today? I'm Bob Cabrera,Oral-B's Campaign manager. We received your application form that you are interested in advertising for our company. Please, acknowledge if you are still interested. Thanks

I respond "yes" and they reply:

Sara, note our accountant would mail out the Check to the provided information which will cover your first Week payment, the graphic installer fee, and the insurance to cover the advert that will be install on your car. When that check has cleared your bank, arrangements will be made to meet with you at your house to apply the decal to your vehicle.

This is when my slow [censored] becomes suspicious and decides to look to see who oral b's campaign manager is and Google shows it being SURPRISE SURPRISE... NOT Bob Cabrera!

?‍♀️?‍♀️?‍♀️?‍♀️ why do I fall for [censored] like this all the time! ?
I will not be sharing with my husband that it was fake ? because I wont hear the end of it for the next 6 months????

Also let me add that all scams like this and lots of others always have spelling and punctuation errors. Its obvious that someone that does not speak good English wrote it. U would think they would spell check it beforehand!

I got the same text about Oral-B as everyone else here and had the same text conversation word-for-word with Mr. Bob Cabrera. I knew it was too good to be true since companies that do actually pay people to advertise on their vehicles don't pay anywhere close to the $500/week I was promised. I am still playing along though and look forward to the game that is afoot. hehehe (Kind of bummed that I'm not really getting the money though.)

So glad that I am checking into this. Received a text from " Bob Cabrera", Oral-B's campaign manager. Most of the above sounds familiar. I just starting asking questions. I knew something was fishy when I was following up and they asked for the last text that I received and I said you should already have our last conversation in your phone. They wanted me to forward them my previous conversation, and the punctuation was poor. So disappointed. Was already making plans for my 500.00/week. Bummer...
