I received a “refund” check in the mail. I do not, nor have I ever had an OptumRx account. A scammer is posing as the company and the company should be made aware. I called OptumRx to verify I do not have an account.

They called me saying they were Optum RX but my caller ID said RX Drug Plan. I've never seen that come up before and I've interacted with Optum RX plenty. They asked me for my name, address and date of birth, I gave them my name street name and month/year of my date of birth and asked them what this call was about. They said if I didn't give them the specifics, they couldn't tell me about the call. I said I don't need specifics, I just wanted to know why they're asking, they wouldn't explain. I said I would call Optum RX directly and they hung up on me. When I called Optum RX, they said they have no call notes in their system and that no one has called me since the 17th. They were not familiar with RX Drug Plan.

Rx Drug Plan printed up when she called. Said she was calling from Optum Rx and asked for my name, dob and address. I asked what the call was pertaining to and she kept saying she couldn’t tell me until she verified it was me. I gave name, the month and year of dob. But not my date. She kept telling me she needed the date at that point I told her I would call Optum myself to find out what the call was for and she hung up. I called Optum Rx and they said the last time they tried to call me was 12/17/22 and they didn’t call me today.
