I asked to see the nearby site where they were working. It wasn't just around the corner, but was about 2km away. They pointed out work they said they had done a year earlier, but didn't know how to pronounce the name of the street. There was someone there repointing some brickwork. The part of my wall they opened up was left open at the end of the day, with rain in the forecast.
Later, I checked the website. Whois says the site was registered with ***.com, a UK web hosting company on April 13, less than 3 weeks earlier. I went to "their" building (an office tower with daily office space rentals as well as permanent tennants). The receptionists for both spaces didn't know the company.
The website, office address and condition they left the wall in at the end of the day constitute 3 strikes in my book.
They also list a second phone number but no place on your form for it.
