Scammer advertised Jeep parts for sale in Jeep pages on Facebook. Insisted we pay through Friends and Family PayPal to avoid $10 fee. Friends and Family is not protected against fraud, lost, etc. items. A dispute was filed with PayPal today. This fraudulent shipping company (same person selling items) then contacted through email stating a refundable $150 insurance fee was needed before item could ship. I responded, saying I would not pay the fee and refund my money, that I have never heard of an insurance fee, as items are covered up to a few hundred dollars anyway. I called several times and sent messages for them to contact me to resolve this issue ASAP. They responded through email stating to never contact them again. I then searched online for reviews on this company Onpointshippers. And my gut feeling was confirmed, it’s fraudulent. So a lesson learned in the amount of $205. I filed a fraud claim with PayPal, since it was paid through Friends and Family I don’t think I will get my money back. In the last hour, I’ve warned others trying to buy his things on Facebook, he keeps changing his name and reposting so it’s hard to get him blocked so he doesn’t scam others. Franklin Stone and Cherokee Parts are 2 names today he has used.
