Yesterday (5.6.25) I was searching flights and I came across a cheap flights website. I saw that foggy fly was offering cheap flights so I decided to book. As soon as I booked, I noticed that I didn't get any confirmation. This didn't seem right so within 10 minutes I contacted the company to cancel. I tried to cancel and was told I couldn't because my flight was already booked with United. I stated that United allows you to cancel within 24 hrs but they tried to tell me this wasn't true. He transferred me to a lady named Amy. She insisted that I couldn't cancel. She blamed me for believing that any flight would be cheap and that I should've known that I had to pay extra. She had the nerve to blame me for their wrongdoing. She kept yelling at me that I was wrong on their canceling policy. Then, she stated that I booked a flight that didn't even allow a carry-on. She went on and said that I would be turned away from the airline because I didn't book a flight with carry-on. She said I needed to change my flight to American and pay only $1999 vs. the $1313 that I was supposedly charged. I told her no and that I wanted to cancel and she insisted I couldn't. She transferred me to her "boss". He also insisted that my flight was booked with United. I looked up my so-called booked flight and of course it wasn't booked so I told him to cancel my reservation especially since my card wasn't charged. He said he couldn't because they already had my money. So, I locked my card right away because all of this didn't seem right. Today, I cancelled my credit card to ensure they didn't get my money. I got lucky they didn't. As I was on the call with them, I could hear other calls and people were trying to cancel. They were getting the same story that I was. I pray they were able to save their money and not get scammed. If you look up reviews, this company foggy fly has scammed so many individuals and have gotten free money by their scamming, thieving fake company. We need to alert others and put a stop to them so others aren't taken advantage of.

This company is a scam! I was looking up flights online. A website listed a bunch of web sights where I can get a good flight. I found Tarifaso Deals and purchased my flight. I even received an email confirming I bought it. In the email it said I was to receive another email with my ticket information in order for me to board my flight. A few days had gone by and I still hadn't received the email. I called their 24/7 hour number asking for an update, they told me I should receive it soon. Also, told me I purchased a flight that only allowed me to bring only my purse! So I upgraded for one personal and one carry on. A day or two goes by, still no email with my eticket and boarding information. I call them again. This time the number is disconnected. Weird its a 24/7 hour customer service number. I google the website and I see a bunch of things pop up on my google search. A lot of things titled the company is a scam and a fraud. I read different reviews and read what happened to several other people, I realized I was now experiencing the same thing as them. Others said they were encouraged to upgrade but never received their ticket. Then when they tried to get their money back; they couldn't.

After my google search; I called the company (with my google number because they blocked my personal number) 48 hours before my flight was to take off and told them I needed to cancel and wanted a refund. The person who answered my call said he couldn't' help me because he was a front desk person. Instead he copied me in an email to his team informing them I wanted a refund and to cancel my flight. I called my bank, had my debit card canceled and waiting for a dispute from my bank. Tarifaso deals has called me with different phone numbers, one left a voicemail saying they have my ticket ready for me after I already said I wanted to cancel?? I checked my email, I never received an email with any ticket information even after they left that voicemail. I emailed them informing them I want a refund and to cancel my flight. I haven't received an email in reply. This company stole my money!! Even when I canceled and told them I want a refund; all I get are crickets.

They took my money, never delivered the service, and are refusing to acknowledge my refund request. I want my full refund processed immediately.

I went online to book a flight (I rarely fly, 5 time in my 60 years). Several websites pop up so I booked with Tarifasodeal.com for 349.99. After booking, I realized this was not correct so I called the number. In the mean time I had several missed calls about my reservations. I told a foreign guy, very hard to understand named “Sheldon” my flight was wrong. He said oh I can fix it for you abundantly you can’t take anything on this plane no purse, luggage, nothing. I argued with him. He argued back and told me I will lose all my money it is none refundable. He said the new price is now 749.98. I was in a panic and he just kept yelling at pressuring me and telling me I was going to lose my money. Heck I figured I would learn a good lesson it would cost my a 749.98 plane ticket. Then next morning I did some research and found these folks were scammers with a “bait and switch” scheme. I go to my credit card, it has not one but 2 different charges. One to American Airlines for 577.75 and one to a “third party” for 172.23. I then call American Airlines and told them what happened and was checking to see if I even had tickets. The nice lady said, “yes they went online a book a ticket like it was you”. Yes you were scammed, travel agencies don’t do that. She said I didn’t even have a seat # assigned which means I technically, didn’t have a flight. Thank God she fixed it. She also told me that after booking, there was a grace period of cancellation, so they were lying to me to get me to pay. She told me to call Mr credit card company and report the fraud. I immediately called my credit card company and reported the fraud. They assured my they would investigate. They credited me and opened an investigation, I then beginning receiving calls from all kinds of different numbers from Florida to Georgia all threatening saying we had an agreement and they were going to cancel my flight. I called American Airlines back and report to them and they blocked anyone from canceling my flight reservations. These folks have sent me emails claiming they sent prior to booking which is a lie. I was told the 749.98 was the cost of the flight. Not that it was 2 different charges.

Found Foggyfly through Cheapflights.com. Plugged in my departure date along with the return date & was amazed at the wonderful deal Foggyfly came up with. $287.89 for a round-trip flight to Tx.

Read over all the details about the flight & decided to book the flight. After booking received an email stating that booking received, in progress. Thought this was strange but waited for another email with the tickets.

Received this message the next day:

We request you to reach out to us at earliest convenience and asked for so that we may verify the details of your itinerary and promptly deliver the e-tickets, ensuring a smooth and seamless travel experience under reference number xxxx.

I then called & was told all the rules & exclusions. When the person told me the amount I signed up did not include any carry-on, if I wanted to have any type of carry-on then it would cost me almost $200 more, bringing the total up to $420.00.

I told the person that I wanted to cancel & was then told there is a no cancel policy. I then told the person that I would be contacting my credit card company.

I am now hoping my card does not get charged & I will not be out this money on a slimy deal.

There was nothing that I read that stated this price does not include any type of carry on. If I would have read something like this, I would not have reserved this flight.

This is purely a scam, run, do not even go near this website!

I booked flights within Mexico for myself and four of my children (including three minors) through this company, expecting standard economy fares on a reputable airline I’ve flown with before. Moments after booking, I got a call from someone calling himself “Michael,” followed by his manager “Ashton.” Given their heavy, unintelligible accents, if those names are real, then I’m Marilyn Monroe.

They informed me — only after I’d submitted my credit card info — that the tickets didn’t include carry-on bags and that my adult child and I would be on standby. That would’ve meant putting three minors on a flight to Mexico City by themselves. I explained that this was unacceptable, especially since:

1. None of this was disclosed during booking, and

2. I had booked the flights minutes earlier.

I asked them not to process the charge. They said the tickets were “non-refundable,” then proceeded to spend 40+ minutes trying to upsell me, nearly doubling the original price.

It’s a clear scam:

Step 1: Advertise a “good” deal

Step 2: Take your card info, then change the terms

Step 3: Refuse refunds and pressure you to pay more to fix the problem they created.

Bottom line: This company is not legitimate. They rely on bait-and-switch tactics to trap customers and exploit vulnerable situations. Save yourself the stress, time, and money — book elsewhere.

I booked an airline ticket on the CheapFlights website through a company called foggyfly. This company is a SCAM. Within 5 minutes I received a call with a message requesting me to call number 1-305-564-2364 to ensure the timely completion of my reservation. When I called this number I was informed that in addition to the listed information at the bottom of the booking page concerning restrictions I had purchased the cheapest flight possible and would not be allowed a carry on (contrary to the airlines policy). I was also informed that my flight would not be confirmed until 3-4 hours before flight time. I immediately requested a cancellation. I was told I would not receive a cancellation as I myself had purchased this ticket. I told them it had not gone through to cancel it. They would not. They wanted to give me alternatives for extra charges. Be aware and careful using CheapFlights subcontractors for flights.

Total Scammers, they advertised a flight that they couldn't fulfill so they called me and kept me on the phone for 30 minutes giving me different flight options that i didn't want. Finally they said they would book with Spirit airlines the same flight i had already found on the spirit airlines website. It was a few dollars more so I agreed just to get on with life. They sent me an email with itinerary but it said nothing about luggage so i assumed since it ws the same deal i had lined up and since i emphasized that i needed to bring luggage i agreed to the flight. When i got the itinerary it said no luggage was included. Then I called them and said to just cancel but they refused. I sent an email saying they need to cancel everything and i never received a response. Totally unprofessional organization and just trying to make a quick dollar from the same exact flights you can find straight from the airlines.

958669I went through cheapflights.com to book an airline ticket as I usually do and found travoport as an option next to all other options like Expedia. When I clicked into it to look at flights, I found a good price so I decided to book through them. My card was not charged right away and even after almost 2 days they hadn’t charged me for the flight. I thought that was odd and have never had that happen before so I contacted them directly. They told me that my ticket was nonrefundable and that I also wouldn’t be able to purchase luggage even when I got to the airport. This obviously didn’t make sense to me and I’ve never heard that in my life so I told them to just go ahead and cancel my ticket since they haven’t even charged my credit card yet and they told me they couldn’t do that. I told them if they did not I would report them to my credit card company for an unauthorized charge and they told me that they were going to contact the airlines and put me on a no fly list. I then contacted American Airlines to confirm if I had a ticket and they said my name was nowhere to be found on the flights that I had booked and also said the information I was provided was definitely not right. At this point, they never charge my card, but they have my credit card information and I have reported it to my bank in case fraudulent charges happen moving forward.

Monday February 19th:

I booked three flights With American Airlines (AA) on Travoport's website. These were "economy seats". There was no mention if bags were allowed with these cheap flights, so I did click on the link that was in their website which brought me to a page that described AA policy of one carry on item, one personal item. At no other place on their website is their information about bags allowed. I have checked many times.

About an hour later I received a call from Henry Williams, an employee with Travoport. He stated that my purchased tickets were "promotional" and could be changed or canceled at any time. Also, I would not be allowed any bags whatsoever, not even a purse. I asked if the tickets I purchased were economy as listed on their website. He stated they were not really economy, they were "special" economy tickets that were a promotional price and not guaranteed flights. He then asked if we could be flexible with our travel plans. We could not.

I pointed out to Henry that this information was not in the flight plans or anywhere on their website. He stated it was. I went on the website while on the phone and tried to re-book the same flights. There was absolutely NO information stating this was a promotional price and not guaranteed. And again, the baggage question led me to AA general policy. I pointed this out to Henry and he stated, "Yes, but that is for non-promotional tickets."

I was informed this purchase was non-refundable. Also not listed on their site or in any of the forms. My only option was to upgrade my tickets for additional money.

As this additional money was very close to AA site pricing, we agreed. I was told I would receive confirmation of my flights/tickets in 24-48 hours.

Wednesday February 19th:

At the 48 hour mark, I did not have my confirmation. I called AA directly and confirmed that Travoport had not booked my flights with them yet.

I called Travoport and again talked with Henry Williams. He told me I needed to be patient and that the flights would be guaranteed soon. I told him that I was told I would receive confirmation in 48 hours, and that is what I expected. This is not hard in the digital age. Henry seemed to become agitated with me and told me I would get my confirmation.

I called back later and spoke with James Cooper. James agreed to help me get my ticket confirmation. However, he insisted I go to Google and write a favorable review, and then he would email my confirmation. Desperate for my tickets, I did so. I suspect this is why Google has any favorable reviews of this company at all.

I did receive my confirmation with my e-tickets after writing this review. I used the AA confirmation codes provided ont he AA website to confirm I did indeed have three tickets on flight 1851 from Grand Rapids to Fresno. All seemed ok. Not great, but ok.

Wednesday 2/26/25

I received a call from Henry with Travoport. It was bad news. My flight had been cancelled. I asked Henry how this occurred because my tickets were supposed to be guaranteed. I had paid several hundred dollars extra at Travoport's insistence that this was the way I would be garunteed a seat.

Henry stated that this was completely out of Travoport's control and that AA had cancelled flight 1851 altogether. I confirmed with Henry that the entire flight was cancelled, not just my tickets. He stated, "Yes. The airline has cancelled the flight. There is nothing Travoport can do".

I called AA and spoke with a representative named Chanelle. She was very helpful and informative. She was able to confirm that flight 1851 had NOT been cancelled, but my tickets were. She was able to find that while a few days ago, I did have seats on AA flight 1851, I no longer did. She stated, "this doesn't make any sense. I don't know why this happened."

I was escalated to AA corporate. There I spoke with a representative that confirmed that Travoport had canceled my flights on their end. There was nothing they could do to help me since this was a third party booking.

I called Henry back at Travoport. He, again, seemed agitated with me when I questioned what happened. I was told my only options were a flight that would put me landing 3 hours away from my destination, or pay more money for a flight, or they would allow me to cancel at this point. I decided to cancel and receive a refund.

Henry told me I would receive and email stating that my flight was to be refunded. I did not.

I called back several times and reached Allen Wilson. He confirmed my refund had been initiated and agreed to send me the email Henry failed to send. He was able to send it while I was on the phone and I at least had it in writing that I would get a refund. I was told the refund would take 15 business days. I stated this was absolutely unacceptable and I would need my money by the next day since it was all digital transactions. Allen would not confirm that this would occur.

I asked Allen to explain what occurred with my supposed "guaranteed" seats that I had booked and asked for a paper trail explaining what happened and how they were cancelled. He stated he needed to put me on hold and talk to Henry Williams. I was on hold for 30 minutes, and then they hung up.

Thursday 02/26/25

I have received my funds back into my bank account. Unfortunately, this company has robbed me of the ability to see my military son before he deploys as flights are now prohibitively expensive. I suspect the idea was to make me pay more and more for my flights as the time drew near, under the guise that my flights were not secure unless I paid more and more money.

My elderly mother booked a round trip flight with the company. When she called to confirm she was told she would have to pay extra if she wanted to bring a carry-on or a purse. She agreed as she needed some way to transport her belongings. They told her it would be approx. 650$ to add on a carry-on. She paid. When it came time to return she had not received a boarding pass. She called and was told it was being held as she needed to give them more money. She explained she already paid the additional fees. The woman claimed she owed more and would not release her ticket without more money. I took over the call and said that they were scam artists trying to swindle an elderly lady. I asked to speak to a manager and sked for the woman's name. I was given a false name, Rose Brown #127. After this the woman with the thick Indian accent claimed she could not transfer me and gave me a to American Airline. She refused to give me any contact info for management. Eventually we got in contact with the original operator Blair Martin who had processed the previous payment and she received a boarding pass. The woman was clearly from a foreign country trying to extort elderly people. She gave false names and numbers to attempt to hide this. My mother was being extorted in an attempt to fly home. They need to be held accountable.

I bought an airline ticket for $223. Got an email the next day stating to call them because there was a problem with my ticket. He told me there was no personal item no carry-on and no check bags. I said that wasn’t going to work for meand that it was not in the description when I bought the ticket. I told him to cancel. He said he could not without keeping the $223. This man was very hard to understand. I had to ask him several times during our conversations to repeat himself and even asked if I could speak to somebody else because I couldn’t understand him, but he said he was the one handling this.. I expressed to him that I am going to be gone for three weeks and I am going to need to take luggage. He said he could upgrade the ticket for $285. I said well I have no choice because he won’t give me back my money so I have to pay more to Get baggage. He ended up charging me $285 on top of the $223 and to top it off I still didn’t get any personal item carry-on or checked bags. I called back, asked to speak to a supervisor. He began to tell me there’s nothing he could do and I told him what happened and he didn’t care. The only thing he offered was $95 off the next time I travelto which I declined because I will never travel through them again. I had to pay another $130 fee to add baggage to my flight.. that is over $600. They give you someone to talk to that doesn’t speak good English and so very hard to understand it’s frustrating. They provide false advertisement. They make you spend more because they don’t offer refund . Then you don’t even get what you bought and paid extra for. Total scam and it seems that’s just too bad for me and they get away with doing business like this
