Instagram was running ads for the store Sundance saying it was going out of business. I ordered a few things. Never got them. Contacted them and they said they would express ship them. In both cases they say package was delivered. I never got anything. I see online that this is a Scam. They use different names. The name I am most familiar with is: Opulirene.com

This company first popped up on an instagram ad claiming that they are closing a 30+ year business. They claimed that all the jewelry was made by a husband and wife in New York. They advertised that the jewelry was 18k gold, 14k gold. I ordered and the shipping took almost a month with very few tracking updates. I emailed the customer service email to get an update and they replied with an automated message as if the husband/wife team will be responding, NO RESPONSE BACK. If the jewelry was made by the husband and wife in New York, WHY would it be coming from out of the US… when the package FINALLY arrived, it was cheap material jewelry, definitely not what was advertised, AND some of it came broken. No response about the return request email as well. Oh, and the return address is in CHINA. Definitely a scam website.

The Instagram ad promised a dress made of a “breathable cotton blend.” The website of Grace & Jax New York said they were closing down and offering huge discounts. I paid a bargain of $59.95.

What I received a few weeks later was a poorly sewed dress with a label that says: "95% polyester and 5% spandex." When I contacted the company complaining and asking to return the item I was told I would have to ship it to China. A transaction that, they acknowledged, “would likely cost about as much as, or more than, you paid for it in the first place.” I'm contesting the charge on my credit card.

I found 13 companies selling the same dress, under different names, including: Amelia Boutique California, Mason and Blair, Olivia Stitches, Soraya New York, Walker and Jude, Grason and Hale.

An ad came across my instagram for King Bailys Mobile Tech. I contacted them through whatsapp. They offered my tech at 200 then after paying they told me i needed an additional 100 for shipping so i paid that. Two days later they provided me with a tracking number. The following day they said my package needed 200 dollars extra for delivery insurance before they sent it. I now now ive been ripped off.

Lux Builds on instagram ram an advertisement regarding Folding Adjustable Pull Out Adirondack Chairs. I bought 2 chairs for 80.00. I’ve reached out to their email no response. I have not received the chairs it’s been 3 months now. I lost 80.00 dollars.

The "seller" which is an Instagram ad with a Stitch doll that breathes in and out with a light in his belly, marketed to help with anxiety and to help people relax and fall asleep. Ordered from trysoftr.com, they give you a deal for $16.99, and after tax comes out to $19.90. Merchandise is shipped from China, two weeks later, never received the merchandise. Days after I purchased the item, a charge for $39.99 from plushieplaza.com is attempted on my credit card. Never purchased from them, and item I purchased on trysoftr.com is not located on website. I had to cancel my credit card and order a new one, and they're still trying to charge me. If you see the Stitch Sleepy Buddy on instagram and it forwards you to the trysoftr.com website, DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS SITE!!! They will take your $20, not send your item, and then try and charge you from a website you never ordered from!!

Got an Instagram ad buy ad for appearl. Site seemed real and legit so I bought the clothing outfit and they offered me a $10 giftcard. Never received anything and the tracking number provided was fake.

This website was recommended to me from instagram. I purchased a few items totaling out to $108 and expected a delay in shipping of about 2 weeks. After the 2 weeks I reached out to the company to get an update on the order expecting so kind of response due to their 24hour response policy. After over a month I received an email my stuff was shipped but with no tracking number. When I followed up with them twice to obtain that tracking number I never received an email back or my merchandise.

I disputed the charge with my credit and got the money back but I do not find it fair they are still active and promoting products and services that others have not received either and make it known in the comment section of their post.

I saw trophy room kickz instagram page and contacted them about their sneakers that was advertised. the person told me they've been selling sneakers in Michigan for 7 years so I purchased the sneakers thru cash app and was contacted the next day that the sneakers would be shipped out. two days later I tried to contact the person and I was blocked via phone and social media. the person never sent my item and took 340.00 from me

I ordered a pair of shoes on Instagram and then stopped and went directly to Northendshop (Italy) to be on a more secure site. I double checked to make sure just one pair. After I ordered, it showed up 2 pairs on the order. I immediately cancelled one pair, but they still sent me 2 pairs of the same shoe. I have tried for almost 3 weeks now to return the other pair of shoes, but I keep getting the same email back that they will get back to me after reviewing the item is in good condition that i'm returning. It's brand new and just wanting to ship back. I feel this is a scam and lost my money on 2 pairs of shoes for $109 total that are poor quality.

Ad was posted on Instagram about a promotion. The company claimed that for doing such good business and this specific cat tree they were giving out a certain number. All you had to do was pay $20. I then got an email saying that currenlty it is taking betwen 30-40 days on avergae for each promotional order to be shipped out. To allow 45 business days overall from the date of purchase for delivery.

I placed this order on 12/9/24 and still to this day I did not receive the order. I went online to check the site and I see this store is currently unavailable. The store is temporarily closed. Waiting for the store owner to restore it.

I watched a very convincing video on Instagram (glucosecontrolguide.com—“Dr. Clark”) about lowering your blood sugars and not needing prescriptions to help with that. (By the way, if you look up the website, it doesn’t even exist)! I fell for this advertisement in order to help my husband. I forgot about the old saying “if it seems too good to be true, it usually is.” I began filling in the order form with my credit card info for the $39 pills, but I changed my mind and did not finish ordering, when they charged me in error for $199.85. However, they already had my card info, and they finished and mailed out four bottles of these supposed miraculous pills! Fortunately for me I had help from my credit card company to put a stop to the charge while it is being contested. My charge card company gave me the telephone number of this Gluco Revive company to request a return address, in order to get reimbursed. I mailed the pills to the address given to me over the phone, along with insurance to make sure they arrived. However, I learned the package could not be delivered since that address given was vacant. Don’t be taken in by social media advertisements, like I did. Follow trusted physicians, not scammers online stealing your hard earned money.

Very believable ad came up on Instagram. Showed 2 girls using hair product that covers greys. They were promoting item. Just had to click to purchase product. After purchased, immediately received email confirming purchase and then received numerous emails about tracking package. Didn’t realize until after purchase, that it was an international purchase. Since received emails about order, didn’t think it was a scam.

USWafo was an Instagram account I came across Instagram. At the moment the Cordless Homeika Vacuum was on a sale for $39.99. I go to the website looks very trustworthy. Locked website. After not getting any type of information to verify my purchase I realized that this website was a scam

As i browse on Instagram , the item pop up on the screen. It look legit, i decided to buy it . I know item was coming from china so i know it will take very a while but not 2 months. I used the tracking number with 17track. It shows that it was delivered but i never receive it. Trying to get In touch with company and get no response.

instagram ad for country style clothing. contacted about arrival date, was told 30 days, kept checking, it has now been almost 2 months, and I am not getting a response.

I have requested shipping info and asked for a refund. they have address, phone number and cc info.
