Opened tv by sunrise website in my browser from FB. Ordered 3 beach chairs and received a pair of sunglasses. Once I googled the name from the package Carrie Bonkiewicz. Instantly I knew this was a scam.

I ordered a chair from the “Home Shopping TV” Facebook page. This brought me to a link to “TV BY SUNRISE.” I never received a email confirming my purchase from them. Three weeks later I received a package with a return address if Carrie Bronkiewicz from Queens, NY. The label was barely covering the China Post label. Inside this package was a cheap pair of sunglasses (which I never ordered). There was no receipt, no packing slip. Nothing but the cheap sunglasses.

Home Shopping Network ad on Facebook. I ordered fans. I received an email confirmation of the order but the links in the email to view the website or orser were invalid. I replied to the confirmation email but it was also invalid. Today i received a first class package fro Cartie Bonkiewicz containing a tiny key chain like item i did not order.

The scammer advertised on Pinterest. On June 16, 2023, My husband purchased a telescopic ladder online $49.98, charged to our Discover Card. On July 3, 2023, we received a very small package from someone that was not familiar to us. Inside was a tiny 4 inch wide "backpack" with a smiley face on it. The return address is Carrie Bonkiewicz. Looking online, it would appear that we were scammed and received this tiny toy instead of the ladder that we purchased. It was sent to us via USPS.

I ordered beach chairs on June 4th from Facebook ad and never got them. I received an unordered phone charger in the mail from Carrie bonkiewicz. After researching, I see others who ordered the same thing from Facebook then got an unordered package.

I received a satin scarf in the mail from this person but never bought anything from her. There’s another postage sticker on the package from China. I don’t recall buying anything from China either. I did buy 2 beach chairs online a few weeks ago that I haven’t received any emails about and I also haven’t received them yet. I wonder if that was a scam and this is what I got instead…

Placed order for Father’s Day Special-Toolbox for $49.98, was provided order confirmation number and shipping tracking number, continued to monitor shipment which appeared to originate in China. When shipment tracking confirmed package had been delivered on 6/29/23, found small box in our mailbox, much smaller and lighter than the size of a toolbox, but with the same shipment tracking number on the mailing label that we had been monitoring. The package contained a “Lucky Box” inside which there were three items that appeared to be for a smart phone (ear buds and two charging cords), along with a note thanking us for our order. Clearly this was not a toolbox. Contacted the company via email requesting immediate and full refund of the $50. Have not received a response. To promote the legitimacy of the company, emails appeared with Costco or Harbor Freight banners. Repetitive ads for this Father’s Day Special appeared in online puzzle games.

Note: The return address listed on the mailing label was from a Carrie Bonkiewicz (not joazim.com or anything similar), 2864 Parsons Blvd, Queens, NY 11357. And the note inside the package included another, different email for customer service: [email protected]
