ozerty-canada sells a device to relieve sinus pressure and claims they are based in Canada. They advertise the device for ~$28 cdn but when payment is made, they add on additional $34 “Eco fee”, even though it is not mentioned prior to hitting the “purchase button”. I took screenshots during the whole process and no time is an Eco fee included in the total with shipping or tax.

They also promise to respond to emails within 24 hours. I sent an email immediately questioning the “Eco charge” But they took 48 hours to respond, then claimed that the product had already been shipped and it was irreversible! Had they responded immediately they could have stopped shipping.

Several emails back and forth and they claim ‘sorry there is nothing we can do to assist you, the Eco fee was clearly stated on our website’, even though it was not!

This is obviously a way to increase their profit by false advertising /website information.

Also, they claim to be in Canada and they are not.
