I got scammed by this fake advertising. I purchased 2 “sale” items (I say “sale” because the website ALWAYS says it’s the last day of their “sale” and it’s been the exact same pricing and products for months) I got sandals and a handbag. Both items were shown to be deeply marked down - advertised as a result of the boutique closing up - both items are actually not even close to being worth what I paid for them “on sale”. The 2 pieces arrived in plastic bags all the way from China. They are cheap knock-off replicas of the items pictured and they took 3 wks or more to arrive.
I complained to the seller (who is very responsive, and timely with her emails in return) but I was immediately and consistently redirected with bigger problems as their suggested “solutions”. Basically, they were trying to solve the situation by attempting to upsell me more of their junk for deeper discounts.
I sent comparison pictures to them of what they advertise vs what I received. I told them they are misrepresenting their products and they imply a fake story to the customer and they won’t accept a return of their items. I have to send them back to China at a price tag of $138.00. I paid $149.00 for the 2 junk items I got. They will not accept a return of the items to a physical Canadian address because there isn’t one.
I have emails of correspondence and receipts. I have made it clear I want my money refunded and the items returned, but they will only refund 15% - that’s $25. I don’t want these pieces of plastic junk.
I regularly travel to China for work and have been to tons of night markets and ladies markets and these items are available for $5-20 CDN MAX. If I had wanted this type of item, there is absolutely no way I’d ever pay more than that for it!
Do not be fooled by the nice story and quality pictures. ***** ***** *** **** ****** **** *** ******** ************* ****** *** ***** ***** ** *****. No quality here.
