I was attempting to schedule a flight from Manchester NH to Charlotte NC on Southwest Airlines.

I was redirected to this site without realizing it and ended up paying for a scam. I was told my boarding pass would be in my email 24 hours before the flight. It was not. I called repeatedly and was told to give them another hour, after 2 hours l went straight to my bank to have the card shut down.

Type of a scam Online Purchase

I attempted to use a third-party discount airfare company through "Flight Search Direct" which was a comparative assessment option through trip advisor. I reserved the fare using my PII (credit card and address). I received a call about an hour later from someone identifying himself as "Fred" stating that he had to charge and additional 57 USD for the reservation but offered concession for the upcharge. He claimed this was a mandatory procedure prior to issuing tickets and that he need me to email him photos of my state issue ID card and credit card. I was alarmed by this and declined the offer, wishing to retain the agreed upon reservation with no modification at the quoted cost of 448.54 USD. "Fred" sent me an email to confirm and process his proposal. I asked him to instead cancel the reservation to which he yelled and threatened that he already had my credit card info and could charge any amount he wanted and then hung up. I immediately locked my card with my mobile app and called my credit provider to cancel and reissue a different card.
