Received text message from a number that is out of Orange County, California but when you open the text is shows the Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles logo. States according to their records I have an unpaid traffic citation per Ohio Law 15C-16.003. If not taken care of in 24-48 hrs they will suspend my vehicle registration, drivers license, sent to collections with 35% charge and possible court action and damage to my credit. My son is a police officer and confirmed this is a scam.
