Purchased car defroster in December, 2024 which did not work. After that, Cedar and Ash charged my account $29.99 from December, 2024 thru July, 2025

I placed an order for cooling blankets a couple of weeks ago. Well, luckily my bank sent me a fraud alert for a charge for $29.99 from cedar and Ash that I did not approve. When I ordered these cooling blankets, there was nothing that said anything about any type of subscription which I’m assuming that maybe that’s what that charge was because I came on this website and there’s. The same incident thank God my bank caught this. I am furious. I will be contacting them. I already changed all of my information, but this is ridiculous. These people taking it upon themselves to charge me without my permission or knowledge! Watch out for this company do not order from them! I will never purchase from them ever again as a matter of fact, I wanna send my purchase back. I want nothing to do with this company.!

Purchased one item from cedar and ash and 12 days later was charged an additional $29.99. After searching it seems i was automatically signed up for a vip membership which i never did. It states that you will receive multiple reminders and i never got one, otherwise id have known they signed me up for this.

On 4/11, I ordered some clothing from "Cedar and Ash" based on an on-line advertisement (I still haven't received the order, but it appears to be in transit); I paid by credit card. On 4/25 there was a charge to that same credit card by "Brook and Ash" in the amount of $29.99; I did not recognized either the company name or having made a purchase that day. I found the phone number (830) 437-3549 on line for Brook and Ash and called it to inquire about the charge.

During that call, I was told by a customer service representative that Brook and Ash and Cedar and Ash were the same company, and that the $29.99 charge was for their "VIP" program. I was further told that I had agreed to enroll in the VIP program when I made my clothing purchase. I told the representative that I had most certainly not agreed to it; that I did not expect to ever purchase from the company again; and I wanted to be "unenrolled" from the program and have the charge refunded. She initially said she was only authorized to refund half of the charge. I told her that was unacceptable; that I viewed the company's conduct as fraudulent; and unless they refunded the full amount and disenrolled me from this "VIP" program, I would dispute the charge through my bank and report the company to the Consumer Fraud Division. She then agreed to refund the entire amount in dispute, advising that the refund would take 7-10 days. As this all occurred this morning, the promised refund hasn't had time to hit my account.

Subsequent to this call, I reviewed my email receipt for the clothing purchase that started this. This receipt showed only the clothing, making no mention (and including no charge) for the VIP program. I also reviewed all the other emails I have received from/on behalf of Cedar and Ash: none of them reflected that I had joined/would be charged for their VIP club. To the contrary, since the clothing purchase I have received four separate emails soliciting me to join the Cedar and Ash discount program (tending to confirm that I had not previously done so even inadvertently). Each of these four emails contained the following at the bottom: "This email was sent on behalf of Cedar and Ash by ACCESS VG, LLC (DBA Access Development) • 1012 Beardsley Pl, Salt Lake City, UT, 84119-1522, US."

I ordered the denture reline kit on March 30, 2025. After over ten request for information regarding my package, the last one on April 26, 2025, I advised that my local postal office did not have a scheduled date of delivery for the "unknown" package. Subsequently, on that same date, I received an email stating my package was delivered on April 21, 2025. I wish I would have done my "homework" regarding this company and their scams. The only advice they have given is to look harder and ask my neighbors. Plain ridiculous and I believe quite incriminating.

I made a purchase of a denture reline kit from Cedar and Ash about a week ago. Then all of a sudden I got a notice that a charge from Ash and Timbers for $29.99 was on hold on my account. I hadn't made any purchases at that time so it put up all kinds of red flags immediately. After researching this charge from Ash and Timbers, I realized I wasn't the only one being targeted. I locked my debit card and have to wait for the charge to release from the hold before I can dispute it.

Cedar and Ash sell items online in which on 11-24-2024 I purchased 5 electromagnetic deicer gadgets for $33 and some change. The website said nothing about a subscription for $29.99. On 12-9-2024 they charged me $29.99 using another name (Ash and Timber) which my bank said they were one and the same. I contacted them via email at [email protected] multiple times and did not receive a refund. I told them I made a one time buy of their product and did not sign up for a subscription. Yet on 1-6-2025 they placed another charge under another name (Oak and Cedars. I filed a complaint with my bank(Blue Eagle Credit Union) again and I had to cancel my credit card and get a new one. I filed an affidavit with emails I sent the fraud company to no avail. Everything about this company stinks. They used multiple names to charge a customer and refused to acknowledge my request for a refund. If this is happening to me there's got to be others like myself going through this horrible experience. If a person does not sign up for a subscription it should not be an automatic thing a company can push through.
