The website (Oemete.com) looked legit so I ordered a pair of shoes for what looked like a great price. I got suspicious as soon as I placed the order, and just a rudimentary bit of online investigation (which I should have done first!) showed people all over the place have been scammed by this company. They provided an email for receipt of my order, then soon afterward sent another email with a supposed tracking number. I came to find out that the tracking website they send you to (track718.com) is also completely bogus -- my "tracking" consisted of fake progress entries, often created while I watched, with no recognizable carrier info or a real tracking number. Finally, after over a month of this, the tracking said the package was delivered. There is no package.

The company website lists their warehouse at an address in Cincinnati, OH, which Google maps clearly shows is an apartment or condo building. Their customer service email address comes back as undeliverable, and calling the contact phone number results in an "Announcement 902 -- wireless customer unavailable" recording with no voicemail. This website is a complete scam and needs to be shut down. Fortunately, my bank is refunding the credit card charge and is opening a dispute with the company, but others need to know to avoid this website like the plague.

I ordered shoes on this site. Shortly right after paying for them I read carefully to the description and suspected the shoes were counterfeit. I emailed the company immediately and requested to cancel the order since it was not shipped yet and the company didn’t reassure me that the shoes were authentic. The only response I got in return was why did I want to cancel. I replied as I mentioned in the email I sent them to begin with that these are not authentic and I want to cancel my order. They did nothing other than take my payment and emailed me a notice days later that the order was shipped. I have not received them nor did I get a response to my email. I reported it to my cc company hoping they will due an investigation and reimbursement of funds. I’m reporting this company to let others beware not to buy from this site. They have poor communication and lack of service.

You will find an item for a very great deal but later will discover that its a scam. I purchased sneakers Mens size 11 New Balance. It was too good to be true. There are many complaints about this "company" and they are located somewhere in China. The address and telephone number on their website do not work. They state the warehouse is at 1339 Clay Street in Cincinnati, OH 45202. The telephone number is (216) 877-0840 and Verizon message comes on that the number is not in service.

I ordered a pair of sorel boots from oemete.com. It has been a week with no tracking information and only one reply from their 'customer service' telling me to just be patient and that they would contact the distributor to try to expedite service. I did some further research and there are a lot of complaints online about them taking people's money without ever shipping the goods promised.

I was looking for a specific pair of HOKA brand shoes. HOKA.com and abut 10 other resellers had the shoes but not in my size. Normally priced between $130-$165.

Then I found the shoes for $59.96. I wasn't sure if I needed a size 10, 10.5, or 11. So I thought I would order all three and send back the two that don't fit. But before doing this, since the price seemed too good to be true, I tried to call them. I got a recording saying, "You've reached Verizon. The party cannot be reached as they are unavailable. Please try again later".

So then I emailed them. The email came back as undeliverable.

Normally I'd just dismiss the company but then I thought I'd order them and just use PayPal because PayPal covers you if you are scammed.

I proceeded to place the order, which showed a subtotal of $179.88. Then, thank goodness when I got to the final page to submit, I looked at the total.

$179.88 + $99,999.00 for shipping = $100,178.88 USD !!!!!!!!

Unbelievable. Obviously I didn't rush through and place the order. But I wanted to bring this to the ScamPulse.com's attention.

During an internet search for an item, I found this website. Placed an order and got an email confirmation as well as a tracking ID. Purchases were to be shipped within 1-3 days of order and arrive 5-8 days after (maybe longer at Christmas). It's been 10 days and my item has not shipped. I have tried to call the contact number, it rings about 10 times and disconnects, not even a voicemail. I sent an email to address on file, no response. I sent another email as a direct reply to my order confirmation and got a generic response that others have reported as well stating order delivery info I posted above. Nothing about my specific order. I have responded back twice to that email with NO RESPONSE. I let the seller know I would like to cancel my order, no response. I will now have to go through my credit card company to try to get my money back.
