Resonded to 40'containers for sale on Facebook market. Was contacted, via facebook messenger, that stated that the add was wrong and that the needed payment now, as opposed to payment on delivery, with link to pay for 2x containers and shipping fee. I paid and received 'paid Invoice' to a Justin Childress, supposedly from One Ocean Network Express. Then was contacted to say that that account was being audited and that I needed o send money to another account. I requested to be contacted by a supervisor. I received call from 1-562-732-4357 and they stated that this was just a mix up in the accounting system. The funds were refunded and after paypal credited my account I sent the $3,500 to the new paypal link. Again, I received a paid invoice and a Bill of Lading from Ocean Network Express showing a 2-8-2024 delivery and invoice "Paid". I received a call on 23 Jan stating that the payment is not being released from PayPal and that I had to send money another way. I oppened a PayPal dispute, which was denied, stating that the funds had been released to the company. I was contacted by the 'accounting department' (1-510-985-9329) today, 2-12-2024, and they stated that they have yet to receive the funds and that I need to pay using other method. I restated that the invoice they send shows Paid and that I will not be providing my personal creditcard/account information. I call the Ocean Network Express corporate headquarters and they stated that the bill of lading is not from them and that they do not sell containers. Other key elements are that the invoice(s) did not contain address now phone numbers. Attempting to get my money back some how.

I almost got scammed, as well. They gave the same phone number to call with any questions (580)985-9329. I googled that number and came across this scam alert. I wasn't going to complete the purchase anyway because I noticed that one-line.com, which appears to be a legitimate shipping organization had a zero instead of an "o" used in the email address (0ne-line.com). I believe Ocean Network Express is a legitimate shipping organization. This scammer is piggybacking off them. Thank you and best of luck.
