I was seeing a doctor named Dr Paul *****, when the business was suddenly taken over by another business called Oasis Infusions, run by a man named Josh *******. This was after I showed up to one of my appointments for Dr ***** and no one was there, doors locked, lights off. This apparently happened during the transition between doctor ***** retiring and this new business and Josh taking over. I waited 2 weeks before someone finally got back to me from this doctor's office to explain what happened. Josh kiernan called me and told me that Dr ***** had to retire due to dementia and they've taken over his business for him, and it's a combination of two business, Dr ****'s business, which was called: Chesapeake Wellness center, and this new supposed business called: Oasis Infusions. He convinced me to have a consultation with the doctor to continue my care. The consultation turned out just to be him asking me the questions over the phone. I don't know why I thought that was okay because he's not a doctor. And then he asked for payment over the phone and I stupidly paid for this $150 consultation over the phone. Later to find out when I checked the balance that was actually charged there were two charges one of $200 and then another of $300. I brought it up to him and he said it was a mistake with their payment processor and I should be refunded in 5 to 7 business days. Long story short, I have NOT been refunded and it's been over 2 months, and I can't get a hold of him again. He will not respond to any of my messages from the portal, or answer /return phone calls. I've reached out to my local police station and the police station in Stevensville Maryland, and they said they can't do anything because it's a business and I would have to go through small claims court to request my money back.
