Type of a scam Tech Support

Called to offer a refund of 299.99 from a company called novasoft. Stated they were going out of business and by law had to refund purchase price of tech support. First person I talked to was Christine, Phone #850-273-4391, gave me a refund number RB.GY/FTWMKS, said I needed to be in front of the original computer the support was done on. Called back later when I was home, transfered me to supervisor Mike who gave me the same number. He stated that per the ScamPulse.com they had to refund me the original tech support charge and passed me on to refund manager Jeff . He gave me the referance number of 1716991723, walked through steps to refund and gave me a transaction ID of MCKLNXBN1529WNNQBCKLBXLNCWB1716691723BX7529, the "transfer amount" on the computer screen changed from 300 to 3000 and then they stated that they couldn't withdraw from a personal account as it would freeze both accounts for 90 days, and they wanted me to go buy gift cards to repay the overage. I checked my bank balance online and I saw no change in my account so I hung up on them and turned off my cell phone and my laptop.
