Nine9 Reports & Reviews (13)

I went to the video conference where you have a zoom meeting to find out about the company. At the end of it, they will ask for 99 dollars etc to get started. I didn’t sign up for it. So I waited several months and they call again and even text multiple times. I asked them what the name of their company was so I could do research on them and she didn’t want to give it to me. I had to text multiple times what is the name of your company for them to finally respond with it. They know that they are scamming people and will even tell you it’s not a job but an opportunity. Only opportunity is losing your money for their gain. Don’t pay. I didn’t pay but talking to them made me realize that they didn’t even remember that I already had took the zoom meeting before so they don’t care long as they get paid and meet their quota. Stay away from Nine9 if you want to keep your money safe.

I found this company advertising on Indeed claiming to be seeking "talent." They told me they were interested in giving me an interview. The person who texted my phone number gave me a link to a zoom meeting. The lady explained they were looking for models and actors. Then about 8 minutes into the call they asked me to pay 99.99 plus 40 dollars. I looked them up and there's tons of complaints about them.

I saw an ad on Instagram to be an extra on a specific tv show. I don’t do modeling or acting but this sounded like a fun opportunity. I was contacted (initially did not provide a name only was pushing for a zoom meeting) and ghosted after asking questions. Next morning I message them and ask if they’ve ghost me then ask for more details about their company. From what it sounds and looks like they were just trying to get me on zoom to give a spill and try to get me to buy a membership for a service I won’t use. The ad they posted was FALSE ADVERTISING and they do not have licensing in California or Michigan from research I’ve done. Steer clear they are not legit. Kim could not properly answer my questions, beat around the bush to make her sell, and once again ghosted me once I started pushing her about false advertisement and proper licensing.

I don’t know if this is the same company or a scam that follows signing up but none of the emails they gave me are recognized by the company and there is no reply when I send emails.
False emails

this lady was so professional
This zoom call was so interesting they ask for your credit card info less than 10 minutes in the zoom

Collected the $99 over the zoom meeting, wasn't mentioned that it's nonrefundable.

First, they said they were a modeling agency and made it seem like they were legit. they made us add in our credit card information and would ultimately charge our card $99 with fees and + $40 a month. after reading reviews i realized they are a huge scam. they do not answer your phone calls or emails either. don’t make the same mistake as me, don’t ever pay an “agency” upfront they always pay you!! i ended up getting a new credit card because i didn’t want them to scam me of my money.

Went to the business, told a few complements. Told to come back the next day. Came back was strong armed to sign contract with not safety of a service that worked in any way. When I exited the office they told me to get lost.

The advertisement on Facebook headlined clicking the link to be casted as an extra in the upcoming Tyler Perry movie “Bruh”. After filling in the contact information, you are texted about an Open Call audition. There is no audition. You are interviewed for membership to the “unagency”. They ask for $500 for an “agency fee” and $40 for a monthly profile fee. There was no audition.

Hi Reba

I'm Alyssa with Nine9 Modeling & Acting. I also texted you but we got your application and are interested in possibly signing you as a talent so, if you're serious about modeling and/or acting, I need you to take the next step in our evaluation process.

Click the link below; watch the entire video and then answer the questions. One of our Talent Specialists will review the information and, if they feel you are a fit, they will give you a call.

The link is https://nine9.com/ust.

Make sure you watch the entire video and answer the questions honestly. If selected your final interview will take about 15-20 minutes during which you'll need to have internet access.

Good Luck!

Alyssa

They buy advertisements all over the internet (found them on facebook and google so far) without using their real company name, and take info to invite people for 'auditions' that end up being sales pitches for photo cards they want to charge you 400 bucks for, then 40 a month forever.

I was scammed. They falsely advertise on Facebook about a casting call. When showing up to their office it has changed to getting enrolled in their agency. They ask for a deposit. Sadly many are being victimized.
