Employment Scam

I had been applying to a lot of remote jobs and I got an email back from “Sarah Brumfield” I took a skills assessment and filled out a employee form she said I was hired I signed a employee contract. Then they gave me an employee portal and we asked me to create a telegram account and she messaged me through there. She sent me a welcome video and said I had to complete 2 weeks of training and said they they were going to have to send me a computer and scanner for work. They gave me a start date and everything VERY good scam they worked very hard for not a lot of information.

Employment Scam

I was contacted about a job application for a Data Entry Clerk position at N-Gene Research Laboratories. I was put in touch with Sarah Brumfield who walked me through the application process. She sent me a test link and an employee form link through email. I was later contacted, confirming that I had received the position and was sent a terms and conditions document to sign. While reading this, I noticed that they would require that I use my personal wallet to pay for a license, which clued me in. Thankfully I found the previous scam report that verified my suspicion and stopped all contact. It is unfortunate that these practices have become commonplace, but I am grateful to hear from others about their experiences to prevent further mistreatment.
