Like the other complaint. I received same emails and phone interview that consisted of 5 questions and was only a 3-5 minute phone conversation. Only difference was HR Manager was a Melissa Williams. I started the so called training 2 days later and when questioned about utilizing my own bank account I stated no. And like the other complaint I was ignored/blocked as they are now not responding or answering

I had the same experience as the above lady but the HR manager was Melissa Williams - when I started asking questions was told it was legal when I stated no reputable company would ask an employee to use their own accounts to transfer business funds regardless I was blocked and ignored

I was contacted by Helen Watts from New Thor Logistics for an interview for a position of project manager/payments. I viewed the company on their website to prepare for the interview and the website looked legitimate. I received the job offer by email even prior to the interview requesting my passport photo and bank coordinates. After barely 5 minutes into the interview, the person who claimed to be Helen Watts offered me the job (which was odd) and continued to say that the company would initially need to use my bank account for financial transactions where after a week the company would take on the transactions. She asked if that was ok with me and I responded politely that this was unconventional and that I was uncomfortable with this request. Whereupon she quickly closed the conversation and hung up. I was left with a strange feeling. I searched for the company, Helen Watts, and the owner on Linkedin and none were registered with Linkedin. Moreover, the contract that they sent was "stamped" as legitimate but not something that would be done in Canada. Attached please find the email and attachment which they sent to me.

appropriate training. After completing the registration stage, you

will begin the trial period during which you will study in detail all

responsibilities you will have. Various lectures dedicated to this

profession will take place, as well as testing, in order to be ideally

specialized in this field.

The next steps are:

1) Fill out the Labor Agreement. (Fill out, print, sign, scan and send

back to us)

2) Document of identity *: you must scan or make a photo of the

document proving your identity (in accordance with the law you must

hide the date of birth and the identification number of your document)

* - To verify your identity, you must send us your ID, passport or DL.

You can use either a scanner, digital camera or a webcam. Your

document will only be used for verification purposes and will be

stored in our secured database.

If you are satisfied with the proposed conditions and want to accept

this employment offer, please fill out, sign the agreement and return

it to me within the next 5 days. If we will not receive documents from

you within a stated above period of time, the proposal will be

automatically withdrawn. If you do not agree with this or do not

understand or want to clarify something, feel free to contact me to

discuss any issues you may have.
