The loan advisor Jordan called to say that I was approved for a loan 5000 up to 7000. I was looking for a loan so I signed the loan and sent my ID. He asked for my bank information and I gave him my information. The scam started when he asked for my password and sign in information. I told him that’s improper. We hang up. He calls ba k to tell me that he could send the loan via western union and to call him back once I arrived at the Walgreens. I call and he tells me to purchase a target card for 175.00, take a picture of the card, front and back and that with the receipt to him via email. As I went to pay for the card the clerk asked me to read what was on the payment screen and if I’m sending the card and receipt it was a scam. I came out of the store and my daughter blasted him and told him that she knew this was a scam. He also told me to pay and send everything and then he would give me a number with letters to take to western union. This is a terrible scam that sounds very convincing. I thanked the Walgreens clerk because after I read the screen I asked was this really true. I left the store understanding I was being scammed.
