I was called saying for 900.00 dollars my student loan will be forgiven now they want answers phone the number no longer works I payed the 900.00 in payments department education says they never done it

I was contacted by David Roman. Was informed that a Lawsuit against University of Phoenix had been initiated. I would be required to pay $900, broken down in monthly payments to be named as a participant in the lawsuit and my student loan would be discharged. After doing so, I checked my credit report, only to find that my loan is still outstanding. I attempted to contact David Roman. The email and website was no longer valid.

I was contacted about by this company that they could help me cancel portions of my student loans. I paid around $900 which I was lead to believe was towards interest that needed to be paid before cancellation of the loans could begin. I was congratulated several times about how I had great chances and approved for my application and the cancellation of my loans. Told that the process was slowed by COVID-19 and that was understandable. I made the payments and shortly after my last payment I stopped hearing from them. I have reached out several times via phone, email, and requests on their website. Nobody ever responds. I regret taking the bait, but hopefully this helps others avoid my mistake.

I applied back when COVID-19 just started, and it took around 9 months but my loans finally show that they were discharged i received paperwork in the mail and my credit score increased. I assume its because (what they say at least) because some of their offices were closed for a while. I attended Ashford, ITT Tech and Florida A & M University. I spoke with Jonathan and David I think but I did have to pay like $4,000.

In April of 2020 I was contacted by this company, they stated that I would be free of nearly all of my student loan debt. I was told that all I need to do was to pay $900+, broken down into monthly payments of roughly $105. I was unemployed at the time and agreed to pay because I had been unemployed for nearly 5 months at the time. In July I received an email stating that I was ineligible, I immediately contacted them and they assured me that this was "normal" and that they were taking care of it and sending a request for reconsideration. Since then I have tried unsuccessfully to contact National House of Finance numerous times, I've sent emails and attempted to call and no responses. I called the Borrowers Defense number yesterday and was told that my application was ineligible back in July and they never received a request for reconsideration. I have paid the $900+, which by the way I was told it was for "interest on my loans" that couldn't be discharged. I have been unemployed for 11 months, lost my housing, ran out of the savings I did have, no longer receive unemployment and now have been scammed by these people. I just want the money back that I have given them for a service they did not provide.

I received a call from a person that said that they will fix my student loans and they received my money and they said that they will get back to me in a week or two nothing has been processed yet but I still have that fear that it’s a scam, did everything go well?
