Type of a scam Fake Invoice/Supplier Bill
He knew my name, my position in the company and what products we had in place.
Toner supply scams never entered my mind, so I said, thank you John.
We received one black toner cartridge at a price of $512.00!
Soon after I received an email from our new approved vender...who I contacted and was told about this scam!!
I contacted National Business Concepts and spoke to a receptionist. I inquired as to how our office equipment information was obtained for NBC?
She offered few answers, and simply stated, "...you have an outstanding bill, and it needed to be paid...".
We returned the toner, (with signature delivery verification, very important) the didn't pay the invoice.
Today, I received a call from, "Denny" stating he was going to send us toner...and to what name should it be sent.
When I asked from which company he was representing, he replied, "NBC".
I asked; "NBC from LA"...I was put on hold and soon disconnected.
