I took one of those short IQ tests on an Instagram ad that came up. It then said to get my result it cost $1. I figured what's a dollar. I paid and they showed me my results. Next thing I know I'm getting fraud alert texts from my bank a week later.

MyIQ.com/us had tried charging my card $66.00 on Sept 29, $44.99 on Oct 1 and again for $44.99 on Oct 1 at 2:11 a.m (which was weird because where I live it was still Sept 30 at 11:11pm) so not sure if they are based 3 hr time zone difference from me in Vancouver or what that means. Eitherway, I did not authorize any payment aside from the $1 for my results. I contacted my bank and canceled my card and left a review at Trustpilot.

There really has to be more done about online fraud. It's only going to get worse. I hope this helps someone.
