I needed to contact Allegiant Airlines to make a change to an existing reservations. I searched Google for Allegiant Customer Service. I was not careful to ensure that I was getting the number for Allegiant. Instead I grabbed a number of this travel agency from MyFlightSeat.com. When they got me on the phone they verified my reservation just like they were Allegiant. They told me I had a non-refundable reservation and that I wasn't able to make a change. But they offered me to use a promotion. They said they would cancel my reservation and then rebook as per my needs but I had to pay with one of their partner prepaid cards. I thought it was legit because Allegiant has a lot of partner programs. So I gave them an apple gift card for $234, the price of the new tickets. Then they convinced me I had to buy another $500 gift card to "make the system work". I was an [censored] and fell for it. But then they asked me to get two more apples gift cards for $1000. I said no and felt like a total [censored]. They redeemed the apple gift cards 4 minutes after I gave them the numbers. Please make sure this doesn't happen to anyone else.
