Poor quality shoes shipped from Canada, costly returns

I ordered a pair of shoes from the company thinking the item was coming from Texas but found out that they came from Canada when I contacted them to return the shoes. The shoes were very poor quality and were crammed into a bag with bubble wrap. When I contacted them to return the item I was told that I would have to pay for the return that included Canadian tariffs and it would be costly to do so. I am now stuck with a product and was told I could get only 20% what I paid for them. They are engaging in deceptive practices by not making the customer aware of where the items originate from and the tariffs. I feel confident in saying that other customers have had the same experience and are either paying a significant amount of money to return an item or stuck with an item they don't want and Mitchell Barocio keeping 80% of what that customer paid for that item.

Items arrived as junk, no refund after return

Purchased two items from online website for over $100.00. They arrived and were absolute junk. I reached out to return items for a refund the same day I received them to [email protected]. They replied with options other than giving me a refund. When I replied I wanted to return the items for a refund I was given an address in Canada to send them back. I did so at a cost of almost $50 to get tracking information. I sent them the USPS receipt. I was told once they received that they would immediately refund my purchase. I have not heard back.
