Type of a scam Online Purchase

I chkd out an ad listed under sheltie dogs for sale online. This person representing Deluxe Shelties answered and told me a price for his sheltie and sent lots of pix of the dog (live pictures of her running around their house plus lots of others. I fell in love with the puppy and proceeded to buy her by sending gift certificates to pay for her plus shipping. Then I was contacted by the so called shipper requiring money for shipping and her care, then requested more money for her to be flown up here, which ended up being toTennessee when they requested more money for shots, etc. They all wanted gift certificates only to be sent to pay other expenses. It ended up almost $4,000 and I finally told them I would come get the puppy but they refused and I told them I was not sending any more money and where they could go... Needless to say they said I would not get the puppy until I paid the money. I have saved copies of all correspondence with them and copies of the gift certificates that were purchased. Now I just want my money back since I don't believe they really have the puppy eve tho they sent lots of pix including ones of his wife holding the puppy on their way to the airport. I have contacted them both and asked for my money back but no response...
