I was reached out through my personal School account about a job offer of being a Personal Assistant for Dr. Micheal G Lesko. I took the job because at the time it seemed legitimate, i was to run personal errends, phone calls, data entry, creating presentations, reminding him of appointments and the like. I created one powerpoint, the week after creating that i was supposed to be paid $200 along with taking care of an orphanage donation. The check never came in that week due to the mail system, so one week after, i got the check Fedex’d to me and immediately deposited it. The next day i was instructed to buy 2 google play gift cards for the demonation of $100/each, ($200 total) and 2 Nordstorm gift cards of $500/each ($1000 total) and as i was giving the card codes to him i noticed my bank account was -$1053.58, so i contacted my bank who had tried to reach out to me albeit a little bit late, to tell me the check was fraud. I lost all the money on the gift cards, and had to pay the bank that much back within the day.
