Type of a scam Identity Theft

Called company to try and purchase Blue Shield of California insurance for myself and newborn. Person I talked to on the phone told me multiples times that I was in fact buying Blue Shield of California health insurance. After phone called had ended and I had paid this company $445, I started getting emails from them and instead of it being from Blue Shield of California it was from MembersBenefitPlus. I immediately got suspicious and started to read through the fine print that I signed and looking up on the internet if I had been scammed. A bunch of people have had similar experiences with this company. They basically told me I was purchasing Blue Shield of California health insurance when I was in fact buying IF theft protection and a bunch of other add on stuff instead of health insurance. When I called back the next day to demand a refund they tried to tell me that but cancelling with them I would be cancelling my Blue Shield of California insurance as well and wouldn’t be able to re-enroll in that health insurance for 6 months -complete lie. I called my bank and got the payment reversed and I am currently working on changing my bank information. They ended up getting my social security number, my daughters social security number, all my bank information, and more.
