Received an email from [email protected] on March 24, 2025 indicating I had signed up for Mediafyre with free access to their online products. Mediafyre provided a username, password and invoice ID for my free access to their portal. They also shared with me that they already had the name of my credit union and credit card number. I suspect Mediafyre obtained my credit information from an online purchase I made through Structurilly, an online retailer. I contacted my credit union who indicated that an attempt was made by cystrea.xyz, a billing agency, to access my credit account but no transaction was completed. The email was signed "Kind regards, Magtastic, Inc." This is obviously a well orchestrated scam by three different organziations (Mediafyre, Magtastic, Inc. and Structurilly) to contact people by email with fraudulent intent.
