I actually do not know what country or state the scammer is in. I received a pop-up on my pc warning about viruses in my computer. I could not leave pop-up using normal means. They sent me a text message with the number 432-289-5328 (my number is 336-392-7524). They also sent a wrong Activation Number for a McAfee PC Optimizer. The rep. in live chat could not tell me why they sent the 432 number and the false Activation Number. I requested that they refund me. I've included a photograph of my phone with the text message they sent to me.
