She posted on a Knoxville hair Facebook page offering salon services. I messaged her on FB she sent me her booking site. I booked and paid a deposit of $25. She tried to get me to change the location to Athens. I refused because I told her upfront I wasn't traveling and was expecting service in Knoxville. She confirmed the appointment the day before and sent me an address to the salon. She never showed up. No one was there. The parking lot was completely empty, light off in the building. I attempted to call and text her no response. I then checked my bank account and she had managed to take $325 out. I did not agree to that. I had only agreed to pay a $25 deposit. I did read the fine print. Nowhere did it say was I to use that site to pay for the services. Payment for services was due in person. I then messaged her about this issue. I waited 40 minutes for her to show up. She messages me later on and goes on to say she was at the shop but she would refund me my money. She also goes on to say the owner has cameras and can prove I was a no show. I know this was not the case because I was at the address she gave me. I went online to find the owner of the salon and she confirmed Mariah/Coriah did infact not work there. The real owner filed a police report due to Mariah using her business for her personal scamming. Mariah has went on the slander my name and make up lies. She has even threatened to report me to the board of nursing due to me filing reports and not just letting her steal my money. She refuses to tell the truth or give my money back. I also found a person who she scammed as well. Made an appointment didn't show and took her money.
