A purchase on the site was attempted, a message stating a verification code was sent to the phone number the customer entered to make the purchase. It was never received. It turned out the code was sent to the phone number of another card holding member of the family that was not entered on the payment information site. That family member did not know why they had received a code. They clicked the link for customer service and received a non functioning phone number to contact them. They realized it was an attempted hack. Not knowing this had happened the customer requested to resend the code and again never received it on the phone number they entered. Later the customer discovered where the code was initially sent and no action was taken and a second code was never received by the other phone number.
