Type of a scam: Worthless Problem-solving Service Scam

Not able to contact for TV warranty

Sold me a five year warranty on my Sony Bravia OLED 77” with delivery fee but after year three when I need to use it they are not responding to phone,email, text etc.Had a good initial experience with them at delivery but have lost confidence to use them again.

Type of a scam: Online Purchase

On 7/5/22 I Was on the website Lowest Honest Price in NJ and called to place an order. On the phone he said delivery would take 2-3 weeks. When I said I wasn’t willing to wait that long he offered 3 day delivery for 25.00 which I paid but that didn’t happen. TV came 1 week later, 7/12/22 via FedEx. It was not the tv I ordered but that of a 500.00 cheaper tv. Immediately called and there were ongoing promises to swap it out for the correct tv. It never happened. Said he uses a “private trucker” who would come and get it. No way. Wanted a FedEx label to return it. He refused. The wind up is. The FedEx label has the sender as Shipping Dept. at a different address in NJ. With the help of the NJ ScamPulse.com lookups the shipper is an electronics store that he ordered the cheaper tv from and had it sent to me. And his address is a private house. Bait & Switch. I bought a tv for one price and got another tv for a 500.00 lesser price/value. DO NOT do business with these people or even go on their website intending to purchase anything.
