I was looking for a room to rent for my son and I and I came across Low Income Rent. I was interested as I am on a fixed income. I was asked what I was looking for and how much. And I told them. I paid a $75 application fee and they said if I get approved that money would be taken off first months rent. And after a little while I was told I was approved. Then they asked me to send $340. Once that was done they asked me to send $560 to finish paying last months rent. After about 20 minutes my bank sent back the $560 and put a hold on my account so nothing can be taken out or put in. I contacted the police and nothing will be done. I had to get a new bank card and changed my password and pin. I have files for this but they are to big to send over.
