This person is pretending to sell puppies for $650 and my friend and I were speaking with them emailing back and forth for a couple of days, I made a deposit for both dogs, $250 each, totaling $500.00. I noticed the website still didn’t say the puppies were reserved, I mentioned it to the “man” and he said “the maintenance on the site should be finished soon & it will show”. Then hours of waiting for contact, the scammer pretended to try and call me after saying for me to call them, I said “you call me” but they then said “I can’t call the line isn’t connecting” I said that’s not possible, called the scammer, they answered the phone. I asked for my money back. They kept trying to ask why. I said i just want my money back, the scammer began to get frustrated and speak loudly and rude, cursed a couple times… then said they’d call me back. When they did not return the call, a little while later I called back again with my friend who was buying one of the puppies with me involved in the 3 way conversation. He said “I’m driving I’ll call you back in a little bit” … I said, “okay call me back”. Hours passed and of course I’ve received no call. Eventually the site showed the puppies as reserved… then I see the puppies in another persons account on instagram from last year. With the same photos sent to me. This puppy was supposedly 12 weeks old. And the photos of the instagram account with the puppy of the same name and photos… was possibly 12 weeks old, 27 weeks ago where the photos were stolen from. (The photos from what I believe to be the real owner were taken September 18, 2024) and I was sent the exact same photos of the puppy as if they were current. I have many screenshots of all of this stuff to show if necessary.
