Identified a product, a shipping container, on FB Marketplace. Corresponded through messenger to work out the price ($2260) and paid through PayPal. Over the following eight days the company, Loraic Containers, corresponded with me through email to arrange a delivery date. They proposed a date that I could not accommodate and asked me to provide an acceptable date, which I did- that was the last I heard from them. I attempted to call them many times but neither of the numbers listed on their web paged ever worked. Nor have they responded to my many emails over the last 15 days. I did get through to a live person once but he immediately got off the line saying their shipping department would call me within five minutes- of course no such call was ever returned to me.

I have filed with PP in the hope I can recover my $$. In so doing I was connected with the “owner” of the PP account in question, who resides in South Africa. She stared that she allowed a friend to use her PP account and has no idea what I am talking about. Who knows if she too is a victim or a coconspirator in this criminal enterprise.

Loraic Containers also has web listing in MD (their phone doesn’t work either).

Their web site, emails, and other associated business correspondence appears very professional and appropriate but it is a sham- neware.

FAKE shipping container business with sophisticated website. Outreach yields messages with false address and 'boiler room' phone number. Phone numbers are unreachable until you get called back from a boiler room. Ten foot long shipping containers are 'unicorns' and rarely available, at 5000-6000. These folks offer many, prefinished worth 10K at 1100-2200 readily available. They offer to ship one upon internet/credit card payment. Unable to locate a verified state Business Name Registration, a physical address, or a working phone number or business history. They were notified by Facebook Messenger they were running a Scan and to Cease and Desist contact. They have my business info and continue to call and email.

No one answers the phone, I got a call back from someone incomprehensible, apparently overseas in India. This is not acceptable.

You advertise a prefinished 10FT Guard CUBE Shipping Container for $2,200.00

Found you on facebook apparently in Wakefield RI not MD.

If this item is available in Wakefield RI I am ready to buy NOW and pickup on flatbed trailer, immediate need.

By end of week I will have something so cannot wait.

Not going to make sense to ship from MD to MA.

following subsequent calls and emails this company proves to be a SCAM without verifiable Business Name Registration, Taxpayer ID, Physical Address, business history, or reachable phone number. Equally alarming, SMS messages and calls from them had numbers that within an hour later were "no longer in service" so they keep changing.

Reached out looking for a storage container on facebook marketplace. Same as Portaboxpros.com . The website looks exactly the same using AI. This company is creating brand new websites with the same type of business model to scam people out of their money. Once the scam is found, they create a new website.
