I thought I was calling Precision and I got a call back from Local Garage Doors & Gates, they overcharged me $3,178.12 on the website it says 15% discount for new customers I realized now I wasn't talking to Precision.
They take advantage of a single women.

I paid $3178.12 for 2 garage motors now I see that they overcharged. It should only cost half price. Now I am reading the reviews I am kind of scare. On the website they offer 15% discount for new customers, I only got $100 discount now I realized I wasn't talking to Precision.

Overpriced parts and labor. Scamming Customers

this company rip off customer s and over pricing their parts and labor. For garage door sring and labor they charge $485. this is totally a deceitful that they said its only $ 165 for the spring and labor.

Called Local Garage Door & Gate to put in a new garage door motor. The guy didn't know what he was doing and the door keeps going off track. Had to have them come back to fix the problem and was charged for them coming out to fix what they installed while it was still under warranty. Finally called Precision who came out and fixed the door that went off track due to the motor but they said they could not do anything with the motor since it was under warranty from another company. Tried calling back to Local Garage Doors and Gates to have them come out to fix the problem and they either do not respond or say they will get back to us. So frustrating. DO NOT use this company they are awful. They take your money and run.

LOCAL GARAGE DOORS & GATES (855) 568-4247. The "technician" came out August 2021. Charged twice as much, promised a 5 year warranty. Three months later one of the two springs came loose, he came out and said it was "fine" and normal for the spring to loosen and only needs oil! Called them back and still waiting for a response to repair the spring! WHAT A REGRET! I want to file a complaint!

I hired them to replace the springs on my garage. They did that but the garage door would not close the last 18 in. The technician told me that sometimes things got loose, and then he left. After several phone calls he came back a few weeks later and met with my wife and said it was fine. After several more phone calls he refused to come out. I ended up having to call another company, Precision garage doors, to come out and fix it. I paid an additional $200.

On May 6, 2021 my neighbor gave me the phone number of Company named Local Garage Doors and Gates. The phone number I called was 855-568-4247. This company sent out a representative who was unable to repair my garage door and in trying managed to break a glass window in the garage door sending glass flying onto the garage floor. After telling me to get a glass company to fix the window he left without repairing the door. I had given this man $800 in cash when he arrived supposedly to replace a part. I have an invoice with no address and no license or bond number and I am unable to get a response from the listed phone number or from the representative's phone number, which is 215-934-8032 (I tracked this as the man had to call me to get in the secured gate where I live). I would give this company a zero rating. I do not want anyone else to be subjected to this kind of service. I am a 76 year old senior, who may have been too trusting, but I consider this senior abuse and a scam.

A quick Google search for "garage door repair near me" brought up an ad for QueenGarageDoorPros.com. The person who came out was from Local Garage Doors & Gates. Web page shows a License number #1057233. My 91 y/o mother was severely overcharged ($3175) for a new garage door opener and spring replacement. Also, she was charged $500 for a PAIR of new springs, and he only changed ONE spring. This "company" apparently uses business names very similar to legitimate businesses. I found and spoke to a real business called Local Garage Door & Gate (not plural) and also found a website QueenGarageDoorRepair.com (not sure if this is legitimate either, but they do have an actual address) The license #1057233 does not appear to relate to any sort of business license. They claim to be "Licensed, bonded, and Insured". Multiple attempts to contact the owner has been futile. Tammy answers both phone numbers and told me the two companies are "sister companies".
